Senior Achievement

I am delighted with the achievement of our senior students this year. With many challenges and interruptions we could have seen a significant delay in credits coming through.

I would like to thank the teachers for the efforts that they have gone to this year to ensure that students have been able to learn either at school or online for various reasons. Equally the students have played their part.

We have our last day for seniors on Thursday 3rd November and our senior prize giving that evening. Study leave will start on Friday 4th November for senior students in Y11, 12 and 13. For a small number of students we will be running “call backs” starting on Monday 7th November. This will be for those students that mainly through interruptions during the year will need extra time at school to gain their respective NCEA qualification. These will be based in the library.

Students that may need to be on call backs will be asked to see Mr Scarth during week 2 to work out a plan for how they will gain their credits. If this plan includes some extra help in the library on call backs I will inform parents and students of this by email.

I look forward to seeing our seniors succeed over the last few weeks of term and striving to reach their own level of personal excellence.

Mr Scarth - Deputy Principal.
