Tomorrow Wyatt Shanks & JP Human receive their cap for the 1stXV against Waitaki Boys in their promotion game to division 1.
BOYS FOOTBALL
1st XI beat Otago Boys seniors 5 -1. Player of the day was Josh Malley for amazing work in the back line, putting pressure onto the opposition and linking up well with the strikers.
2nd XI beat Otago Boys Y10 white 7 - 0. Player of the day was Blake Cochrane for playing outstandingly well in three different positions on the night.
GIRLS FOOTBALL
The first eleven had a close loss to Otago Girls First eleven. Scores were tied at halftime. POD for us was Katie Murray but it was an excellent all round team performance.
Second eleven had there game cancelled because of the weather and pitch conditions.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Poupoutunoa Falcons were defeated by John McGlashan
The boys played with mana for the school
Offensive Player of the Day is Teitia Ketike; Defensive Player of the is Benji May and top pick Andrew McLay.
The boys meet Taieri College this week who are sitting pretty at the top of the scoreboard.
Mata Au te Awa lost to Bayfield A 64/61
It was a tough game that the boys enjoyed, having held off the opposition to sit neck and neck until the final 10 seconds
Offensive Player of the Geordie Bennett, Defensive Player of the day Zachary Belisaro, and top pick Jack Bloxham.
The boys face top team Trinity CC A Team this week.

Offensive PoD is William Maze; Defensive PoD is Kingston Davis and top pick Luka May.
Iwi Katea te Ra play Bayfield this week. It will be a great match.
MIXED BASKETBALL
The Two Junior Team, Pango and Kakariki played Catlins Area School
Pango lost to their junior team by 4 points
Kakariki lost to the senior team by significantly more.
Defensive Players of the day: Liam Hill, Rylie Woodrow, and Offensive Players of the day James Moroney and Fiona Reyes. Thank you to Conrado Tomeldan and Zack Smith who coached the two teams this week.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
The girls played a tough game against a strong St Kevins team. A dagger buzzer beater in the 4th quarter from one of the St Kevins girls put the game away, resulting in a 100-24 loss. The player of the day went to Taylor Dobbie, who was scoring very efficiently. The girls are going up against Otago Girls B this Friday.
