Well-being: Parent Support

As young people progress through high school and different stages there can be many ups and downs for us as parents. Every family is unique and we all have our own challenges along the way, everyone has different personalities, strengths and hopes in life.

The time of adolescence can, at times, be difficult to navigate. Parents have such an important role supporting young adults as they develop independence. Sometimes when things are stressful for us it can be hard to have control over the things that are happening and make a plan. Sometimes we might like some help along the way. With nearly 30 years experience working with young adults and their parents I have seen some similar situations and am aware that there is no one size fits all solution. At school we are here to help and staff will do the best we can to support you.
