Ellie Olsen-Vetland represented South Otago High School in the New Zealand Secondary Schools open water 3.5km swim event at Lake Tikitapu near Rotorua.

She came 7th in her gender age field and gained a new pb for herself in open water at this distance. It was a tough field against some super fast North Island swimmers. Ellie had a great experience and we are proud of her representing the school at this level.
